5 minute makeup products

Recently, it's been very hard to peel myself off the mattress come morning, but in order to be able to get myself to work on time (and er, still have those crucial 15 minutes of checking Facebook, Feedly and Twitter when my alarm goes), I've been honing my makeup routine to get it down to a few products that give me a (relatively) pro finish, but which can be schlapped on in five. Here's what I'm loving right now:

  • Bourjois 1-2-3 CC Cream, €10.49
The total absolute best CC cream I've tried; hands-down. Coverage, comfort on my dry skin and a totally decent price, what's not to like? I sweep this on with fingers and blend out with a buffing brush. Instant done-ness. If there was any negative, it'd be that it only comes in four shades; if you can find one to suit you're quids-in.
  • Tom Ford Cheek Colour, €58
Lissen lissen: I know this Tom Ford blusher is a shocker of a price. I also know that this shade, Flush, is so intensely pigmented that you barely need to wave your brush at the pan to pick up enough product to do both cheeks. Conclusion? This product is going to last until at least 2525. So a bit of a bargain, really.
  • Bourjois Quad Smoky Stories eyeshadow palette, €10.49
One of my absolute favourite budget brands, Bourjous has great bits at decent prices. A case in point? I'm really liking the new Quad Smoky Stories palettes. This is Upside Brown, and the four creamy-smooth shades are designed to work together, though for day I generally just blend on one of the browns - the centre white is sparkly and will fall-out by lunch. And no one wants that, huh?
  • NYX The Curve eyeliner, €15.99
I'm back into pen liners; perhaps because they're so handy, but more likely because I'm crazy lazy, especially in the AM. This is designed to be ergonomic and it's one of few products I've ever used I can genuinely achieve a very thin line with. It's decently black, and stays put too.
  • YSL Babydoll Mascara, €32.40
I am not a person who likes little lashes. No, oh no: big, full and fat; that's what I want and this delivers. There's an update to YSL's cult Faux Cils coming in the new year which I'm excited about, but right now I'm very happy to keep on using up this. It's pricey, but ace.
  • Mac Lipstick in Lady Danger, €19.50
A satin-finished light base, subtle polished eye; how else would I finish a five minute makeup job except with a slick of this. A cult for a ton of reasons (we've got five reasons it's the IT red here), this is my ultimate finish touch when I wanna look pulled-together.

So, have you got any of these bits, want to try any of them or fancy dishing your own five minute makeup? Drop a comment!

Very nice, and I need that blush in my life! It looks like it'd last forever, but I also want a Charlotte Tilbury blush!

When I'm in a mad rush I apply Liz Earle tinted moisturiser with my fingers instead of foundation with a brush.
