Olivia Palermo wears leopard print shoes

I’m a fan. I’ll stand up and say that I love all things leopard. Does this print float your boat?

And now that it’s been declared a neutral by all the fashion mags it’s worth even more in the style stakes. Just like black, white or navy you can pretty much throw a few - well, max two - leopard items at an outfit and it’ll work.

Accessories are the easiest way to wear this trend. Hurrah. For example a leopard print bag (Jerome Dreyfuss' are really lusty if you can afford to splash out, above) makes skinny denims and a tee look more pulled together. Or wear a pair of leopard print pumps with another pattern a la Olivia Palermo and viola it makes a ho-hum outfit look cool.

Naoimh's showing us how it's done with her footsie pic complete with Vince Camuto pumps, €125, from Brown Thomas and an altogether on-trend clashing print - follow her on Instagram for loads more

Have we convinced you yet? No? A fashion friend told me she did a vox pop of fellas: corkers like trashy, cheap and nasty were bandied about… you get the gist. Bottom line is, lads hate it. But hang on, because if it’s something your man friend can’t stand then that’s a bonus in our book because it seriously ups the fashion ante.

So are you a fan or a foe of leopard? Have at it in the comments below.

Olivia's shoes are fab. I love the clash with the floral. I like it, but my fella hates it! I have my eye on a lovely cardi in leopard print.

I'm a huge fan of the leopard print - shoes, clothes, bags, the works! Sure isn't it the bee knees & the spiders ankles.

Last count, I had 4 different pairs of leopardprint shoes. A topshop pair a bit like Olivia's, a flat brogue from Dune, another pair of wedged trainers from Dune and some fabulous cons. If that's not dedication...

Love leopard print but not on myself. Think because I've got my own animal print going on with my moxie of dark freckles. I think it's too much when put the leopard with the freckles.
