I've got a bad back, most of which I attribute to falling off my shoes while locked during my twenties, so nowadays I tend to avoid heels most of the time.
Doesn't stop me buying them, I'm just circumspect about when I wear them, y'unnderstan'.
And I've pretty much given up on thin heels, preferring wedges, thicker heels and shoes with platforms and more support. Like these Jeffrey Campbell Brazen Hologram babies, €129 from Folkster. Which I am surprising myself to find I'd absolutely lurrve altogether.
See, the whole Jeffrey Campbell thing? Well, with the ubiquity of the Lita and all its myriad ripoffs in the last couple of years, that sort of made me avoid the brand but these have brought it back into focus for me. They're definitely on the wishlist.
